Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all communications related to SCILLS program milestones and grant cycles.
  • Review grant applications for completeness and compliance with program requirements.
  • Manage the internal and external review process of applications, including assigning reviewers and summarizing feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of grants and communications in the grants management system.
  • Facilitate grantee onboarding and reporting, ensuring timely submission and processing of documents and payments.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to share grantee success stories and program impacts.
  • Work with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning team to assess program effectiveness.
  • Support grantee site visits, check-in calls, and compliance monitoring.

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a grantmaking organization or non-profit.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural, and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or French is desirable.
  • Proven track record of solving cross-team challenges and improving operational processes.
  • High digital fluency, including use of Microsoft Office and collaborative platforms. Experience with grant management systems such as Fluxx is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail.
  • Comfort preparing and delivering presentations.
  • Willingness to travel and collaborate across time zones.

Work Environment and Supervision

This is a fully remote role with no supervisory responsibilities. In the event of an extended absence, responsibilities will be managed by the Program Officer.
